The TPI Screening is typically where Joel likes to start with all of his students. Joel will run you through a “Big 12 Swing Fault Assessment” followed by a mobility/stability, posture and balance physical screening.
After gathering all of the information, you will receive a TPI Screening handicap score for benchmarking and Joel can correlate the information to help you understand your Body-Swing Connection. It is then easy to determine which of your swing faults are habits and which are caused by physical limitation.
Running through this process reduces the risk of injury as well as wasting time trying to make technique changes that are actually caused by physical limitations.
